Headcount is the starting point, not the answer
Every capacity chart you will find online begins with guest count, because it is the one number people know early. It is genuinely useful, but on its own it is a poor predictor of how a restroom performs on the day.
As a working guide, our two-suite unit, Le Duo, comfortably supports a mid-size event of roughly 180 to 200 guests for a standard reception. That is planning guidance, not a promise — final recommendations are confirmed after we review your event.
What actually changes the answer
Four things move the number more than headcount does.
- Event length. A four-hour reception and a ten-hour festival with the same guest count are not the same job.
- Bar service. A full open bar changes usage patterns more than almost anything else on the list.
- Simultaneity. If everyone breaks at once — after a ceremony, between sets, at a speech — demand arrives in a spike rather than a stream.
- Distance. If the restroom is a long walk from where guests are, they wait until they truly need it, which concentrates demand.
How to plan it properly
Start with our restroom calculator for a first read, then send us the actual schedule. We would rather look at your run of show and tell you plainly whether one unit fits than have you discover the answer at the reception.
